My Predictions: Biggest Comeback

Biggest Comeback

Buccaneers - This year the Buccaneers were absolutely horrible, with a 4-12 record. The coaching staff was the worst. The Buccaneers remind me of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012; the Chiefs had a 1-15 record and this year they finished with a 11-5 record, thanks to their new coach Andy Reid. The Bucs got Coach Lovie Smith, who got cut from the Bears in 2011, after failing to take them to the playoffs with a 10-6 record. Tampa Bay has a young group which include Running Back Doug Martin and Quarterback Mike Glennon. In Martin's rookie (2012) season made it to the pro bowl and had over 1450 rushing yards and almost 500 yards receiving. In one game of Martin's rookie season, he rushed for 251 rushing yards and four touchdowns! This season, Martin suffered a shoulder injury in a game against Atlanta. Martin was put on IR for the rest of the season. Quarterback Mike Glennon started this season on September 25, 2013 in week four after Mike Freeman became a benchwarmer. Mike Glennon threw 19 touchdown passes, only 9 interceptions, and 2,608 passing yards, all in only 12 games. The Bucs are like the Dallas Cowboys of the 90's with the triplets, QB Mike Glennon, Doug Martin, and the swift Wide Receiver Mike Williams. Williams was put on IR this season, in week 6 due  to a hamstring injury. Next year when the triplets are healthy, they can have the most effective offense of the 2014-2015 season. Tampa Bay had two defensive pro bowlers, Legendary Corner Back Darrelle Revis and the Cannon Bolt Defensive Tackle Gerald McCoy. Darrelle Revis is the new Ronde Barber and Gerald McCoy is the new Warren Sapp. This is why I beleive the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be one of the best teams in the NFL, next season.

Texans - The Houston Texans had the greatest season 2012, with a record of 12-4. This year the Texans were awful with a record of 2-14! This was unbelievable, because the Texans had thirteen pro bowlers which included, Quarterback Matt Schaub, Fullback James Casey, Running Back Arian Foster, Wide Receiver Andre Johnson, Tight End Owen Daniels, Offensive Tackle Wade Smith, Guard Wade Smith, Center Chris Myers, Defensive End J. J. Watt, Defensive End Antonio Smith, Corner Back Bryan Braman, and Corner Back Jonathan Joseph. I don't understand how a team has 13 pro bowlers one year, and the next year they end the season with a 2-14 record. In week one, the great Line Backer Brian Cushing won the game with a pick 6. Cushing broke his fibula and tore his fibular collateral ligament. The Texans Quarterback, Matt Schaub, was lucky to win Week one because he threw a pick six, which was a start of a streak. He did the same thing in week two and week three. In week four Schaub broke a record for throwing a pick six in four straight games. In Week seven Schaub became a benchwarmer and third string Quarterback Case Keenum. I think next year will be different  because the Texans have the number one overall draft pick for the 2014 season. They need a Quarterback desperately, so they should draft QB, from Texas A&M, Johnny Manziel. Manziel will easily be able to adapt to the Texans Offense, because Coach Bill O'brien is coming straight from Penn State. A college Quarterback along with a college coach will create a Dynamic Duo. Houston's offensive line is one of the best in the league, which will keep Johnny Manziel from getting injured. Arian Foster and Andre Johnson are the greatest in the league at catching balls and scoring touchdowns. If the Texans create a powerful Offense like they did in 2012, the won't have to worry about there Defense. Houston has J. J. Swatt, the Ball Hawk Jonathan Joseph, and Brian Crushing if he stays healthy. This is why I think the Houston Texans will be a playoff contender and be the opposite team of what the were last year.
