509!!!

Move over Brett Favre, It's Peyton's record now. This previous Sunday, October 19th, 2014, history was made. Peyton threw his 509th touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas becoming the new record holder for most touchdown passes in NFL history. He later passed for 510, and will probably keep adding on to that statistic.

Does this make Peyton Manning the greatest quarterback of all time? In by book he is, even if he didn't get this record. The problem is, most people might think it's Tom Brady, because of his Superbowl appearances, but if you look at the stats, it's Peyton and Favre...

Record                                             Number     Player                 (Year)
Most Attempts (Career)                   10,169    Brett Favre              1991–2010
Most Completions (Career)             3,600      Brett Favre              1991-2010
Most Passing Yards (Season)          5,477      Peyton Manning      2013
Most Passing Yards (Career)           71,838   Brett Favre               1991-2010
Most Passing TDs (Single Game)    7            Peyton Manning      September 5, 2013
Most Passing TDs (Season)              55         Peyton Manning      2013
Most Passing TDs (Career)              510        Peyton Manning      1998-present
Most Interceptions (Career)             336         Brett Favre               1991-2010
Most Times Sacked (Career)           525         Brett Favre               1991-2010

As you can see, Peyton and Favre holds great records. If Peyton plays as many years as Favre did, he would defiantly break all of the records, exempt for the interception and sack record. Peyton also needs another ring to officially be known as the greatest quarterback of all time. Right now he's the greatest regular season quarter back of all time and the king of touchdown passes.
