Chris Johnson             2009                  2,006

There has been only seven running backs that have rushed for 2000+ yards in all of football history. Only three (O. J. Simpson; Barry Sanders; Eric Dickerson) of the seven people in the Hall of Fame. Eric Dickerson holds the single season rushing record with 2,105 and that record has been held for 28 years. In 2012 (28 years after Dickerson broke the record)  a Running Back who wears number 28 for the Minnesota Vikings, Adrian Peterson was only 9 yard short from breaking Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record. Will that 28 year old record ever be broken?

Tebow's New Team

Tebow got drafted round 1 pick 25 for the Denver Broncos in 2010. People thought the Heisman Winner would be the next Tom Brady, but he wasn't. In 2011, Tebow started week five and brought the 8 - 8 Denver Broncos all the way to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The game was Broncos vs Patriots. The Broncos lost 45 - 10. In 2012 the Broncos got one of the best Quarterbacks of all time, Peyton Manning. So Tebow got traded to the New York Jets. Where he was a benchwarmer most of the time. He wore the same number, 15. Tebow didn't start any games behind Mark Sanchez. The Jets finished the season with a 6 - 10 record. This year in 2013 Tim Tebow just got traded to the New England Patriots! He played 35 games and started 16 of them. Tebow attempted 361 and completed 173 of them. Tebow may be transformed into a Tight End because Rob Gronkowski is out.

Jim Kelly

Jim Kelly was born February 14, 1960 in East Bradley, Pennsylvania (where most great Quarterbacks are from.). He went to East Brady High School where he won all-state honers at his high school for passing for 3,915 yards and 44 touchdown passes.

When Kelly graduated from East Brady High School he wanted to go to the college Penn State, but he didn't get offered a Quarterback Scholarship he only got a Linebacker Scholarship. So instead of Penn State he went to the University of Kelly finished his college football career with 406 completions, 646 attempts, 5,233 yards, and 32 touchdowns. He was inducted to the University of Miami Hall of Fame.

Jim Kelly was drafted in what is known as the best draft ever, the 1983 draft! His agent asked him if there were any teams he didn't want to play for. Kelly said, "Yes, the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings, and especially the Buffalo Bills." He didn't like those teams because of the cold. He remembers watching the draft on T.V. at his house with his mom and dad. When it was the Buffalo Bills pick, twelfth of the third round and he was saying to himself "please don't pick"and then he heard "the Buffalo Bills select Tight End Tony Hunter out of Notre Dame. He was so happy he wasn't picked   that he jumped out of his seat and accidentally knocked his mother to the ground and said, "I'm sorry mom I'm sorry, but I'm not going to Buffalo. His agent said, "relax Jim the Bills also have the fourteenth pick of the draft." He remembers hearing the Buffalo Bills select Quarterback Jim Kelly out of the University of Miami.

Kelly was so mad about being drafted by the Buffalo Bills. So he joined the United states Football League (USFL). He played for the Houston Gamblers. He did great in the USFL and he holds records for most career touchdown passes and most yards and touchdown passes in 1984. Kelly was the USFL MVP in 1984. The USFL fall apart after that so Jim Kelly rejoined the NFL and the Buffalo Bills.

Jim Kelly is known for his Superbowl appearances. He went to four and lost four. The difference between Jim Kelly and Terry Bradshaw is that Terry Bradshaw won all four of his Superbowl appearances. Jim Kelly played ten straight years with the Buffalo Bills. He finished his career with 4,779 attempts, 2,874 completions, 35,467 yards, and 237 touchdowns. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002.

Dave Robinson

Dave Robinson was born May 3, 1941 in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey. He went to Moorestown High School and graduated in 1959. He was a great athlete at the high school Football and especially Basketball. He played for three unbeaten New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) championship teams. In 1957 he had a 9 - 0 football record. In both years of 1958 and 1959 he had an undefeated record of 22 - 0 for basketball.

Robinson went to the college Penn State playing Offensive and Defensive End from 1960-1962. He was the Gator Bowl MVP and made it to the Gator Bowl Hall of Fame. In 1997 he made it to the College Football Hall of Fame. He also earned a degree in Civil Engineering(which pays off later in his life.).

Dave Robinson got drafted more times than any other football player I know. He got drafted three times. In the NFL he got drafted round 1 pick 14 by the Green Bay Packers, in the AFL he got drafted by the San Diego Chargers in round three, and in the CFL by the Montreal Aloutters. The San Diego Chargers had a financial package, for Robinson, of $38,000, but ran out of money and traded his AFL rights to the Buffalo Bills. Robinson did not think he'd play for the Green Bay Packers. His fiance Elaine had been to Buffalo before and knew it was cold, but she never been to Green Bay and was willing to give it a try. Green Bay changed Robinson from a Defensive End to a Linebacker. The Packers started the three Linebackers Lee Roy Caffey, Ray Nitschke, and Dan Robinson. Robinson was a threat against the run and especially the pass. Detroit Lions Hall of Fame Defensive Back Jack Christiansen said “Trying to pass over Robinson, with his arms and reaction, is like trying to pass over the Empire State Building.” Robinson went to three pro-bowls 1967 pro-bowl MVP, won three times NFL Champion, and a two time Superbowl Champion. In 1973 Robinson got traded to the Washington Redskins and retired in 1974.

Dave Robinson was inducted to the
Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013
