408!!!

Saturday, November 15, 2014, Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon ran like a fright train against toothpicks or like Marshawn Linch against the Saints, in other words Gordon had a record setting day. What he did was absolutely ridiculous. He ran the rock 25 times, averaging 16.3 yards per carry, and four touchdowns, leading the Badgers a 59-24 victory over Nebraska. The record was his 408 yards rushing which is the most in the 145 years of college football. The previous record holder was the legendary Ladanian Tomlinson who rushed for 406 yards in 1999. Melvin claims that he didn't know he was anywhere near breaking a record. He will probably be receiving multiple Heisman votes because of that performance. Later that day, Tomlinson tweeted about Gordon's game. This was the greatest game ever by a division one running back!
