Robert Quinn: Fluke or Juke

Robert Quinn AKA the Mighty Quinn was drafted in the 2011 Draft out of North Carolina. He was drafted 13th overall by the St. Louis Rams. In his two years at the College of Michael Jordan, Robert Quinn had 86 total tackles, thirteen sacks, and eight fumble forces. In 2010, he was ineligible to play due to lying lying to investigators about receiving travel accommodations and jewelry. He is prohibited from contacting current North Carolina athletes and is not allowed inside the Kenan Football Center or other athletic facilities on campus. Beside his "long off season" NFL scouts overlooked that thanks to his athletic talents.

In the 2011 season, The Mighty Quinn started his NFL career. He signed a four year 9.4 million dollar contract. He missed his first practice due to the birth of his first son. On a Monday Night Football Game against the New York Giant, Quinn recorded his first career sack. His greatest game came on October 30, 2011 against the New Orleans Saints. He recorded his second sack of the 2011 season and a blocked punt. At the end of his rookie season, he had five sacks and three blocked punts. He ended the season better special teamser than he was a defensive player.

In 2012, Quinn had an average season, with 29 tackles and 10.5 sacks. In Week five against the Cardinals, he had three sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble. His second NFL season was okay, but nothing compared to his third. Robert Quinn came from an unknown player for a terrible team to the Ram's Face of the Franchise. The Mighty Quinn had impressive sacks which included 50 tackles, seven fumble forces, and two fumble recoveries for 33 yards. In the 2013 season, he had the greatest play of his career. The game was against the Chicago Bears, he sacked the Quarterback, forced a fumble, recovered it, and ran it back for six. Robert Quinn statistically ranked second in sacks leading the NFC, with 18.0, which broke the Rams single season sack record. He was All-Pro and was the pro-bowl defensive captain. I can't think of one team that wouldn't want a player like him. The only question is, will Robert Quinn be a one time wonder or the next Reggie White?
